Is this possible? I'm pretty sure there are used ZR1 Corvettes at under $90k. Heck, there might be one at like under 70k.
And can I get a fact check discussion about this, I couldn't find anything about Porsches using Cadillac brakes.

A cursory google search shows one one ebay for 81k.

Yeah. I'm pretty sure they had a version the first year that didnt have the interior dress-up package and could be had for not much over 90k to start with.

I see some for like $70k, but you wouldn't necessarily have it as a argument against a 2015 car I guess, but someone really just needs to call out that entire blog on the fact it's a contest to see what you can pull out of your butt.

This 2010 ZR1 is just under $78,000
This 09 ZR1 is just over $73,000
And both are at dealers... so they are priced high

The blog, or the commenters?

Oh my bad, the commenters. x-x It's cause I call us all Oppositelock, so I'm kind of used to referring to an entire blog as its community.
Cause you know, we're pretty damn awesome.

2010 for under $70k,
Just.

Would you consider that 5 year difference acceptable to the point that you can cross shop them when you're looking for a $75,000 American supercar?

I remember it being a great deal also for a relatively high priced American car as long as you ignore the interior.

Relative to what is the question. Other American cars? Sure. But compared to everything else that can run with it on the track? It's the steal of the century.

Autoblog is like a magnet for fanboys. I hate reading the comments.

I've got a problem with this "just get a used blank for $xxxxx". You can always get a higher end car for less money used, without exception. To me it's the go to argument against any car for anyone who has an irrational dislike for any particular car.

Wait, you mean someone saying the ATS-V will make M non-competitive is a fanboy???
Sorry, that guy just seems too stupid to be a fanboy.

I found Jalopnik after getting tired of their shitty writing and constant grammatical errors. I know it's not a big deal but you can't expect someone to take your work seriously when there's spelling and punctuation errors in almost every article.

I've always hated that argument too. And besides, since when is any sports car a rational financial decision.
